The mission of Dignity Kitchen is to build and return the dignity to the disabled and disadvantaged through vocation with passion.
Dignity Kitchen operates a fully functional, regular food court that is open to the public, as well as a hawker training school to preserve the heritage of Singapore’s hawker fare. The interactive experience created by the dynamic environment between the public and the trainees allows for the enhancement of educational values.
Focusing on the training of people with physical, mental & social disabilities to learn a new skill, and to become food stall operators. They also offer their facilities and services for private events, as well as delivery services.
Dignity Kitchen was featured in Channel News Asia’s programme on social enterprises called Invest In Me. This is in partnership with a social enterprise scheme by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports (MCYS). For more details, check out the website:

If you’re going there by public transport, it’s located directly opposite Bedok North Secondary School along Kaki Bukit Avenue 1. The bus stop just outside the foodcourt is serviced by bus numbers 5, 15, 58, 59, 87 (see image below).
